About Removly
Removly exists because comparing removal quotes was harder than it should be: ringing round firms, repeating the same details five times, and never quite knowing if the price was fair. So we built the one-form version — you describe your move once, and up to five local removal companies quote for it.
How we make money — stated plainly
Removly is free for you and always will be. Removal companies pay us per lead — a fixed fee for each introduction — and that's the entire business model. We don't take a commission on your move, we don't mark up quotes, and we don't sell your details to anyone except the companies quoting your move.
We'd rather you know exactly how we make money than wonder. It also keeps our incentives honest: we only do well when the introductions are good enough that companies keep buying them — which means real moves, matched properly.
What "vetted" means to us
Every company that quotes through Removly must hold goods-in-transit insurance — we ask to see the documents, not just the claim. It must be an established trading business with a real address and history, not a phone number and a hired van. And it must keep customers happy: firms that generate complaints get removed, because our service is only worth what the worst company on it does to someone's moving day.
How we research prices
Every price range on this site is a published third-party figure or a range derived from them — never a number we invented to look competitive. Where a guide quotes a figure, the source is named on the page with the year it was published, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Our guides are written and fact-checked in-house by the Removly editorial team, and each carries the date it was last reviewed. We deliberately don't publish our own "average move cost" yet: we haven't issued enough quotes to make that figure honest. When we have, we'll publish the method alongside the number.
What we are — and aren't
We're an introduction service. The quotes come from the removal companies, the prices are theirs, and the contract for your move is between you and the company you choose — our termsexplain that in plain English, and the privacy policy covers exactly what happens to your details.
