• Bay suspension: for works on the highway or a nearby property. Apply through the permit portal at least 10 working days ahead; the council's page asks contractors for two weeks. It costs £100 per bay per week, lasts one week and isn't refunded if cancelled.
• The conditions say suspensions aren't granted for preferential parking outside the applicant's own home.
• Dispensation certificate: for trades working from the street. £5 a day or £15 a week plus a £5 admin charge, applied for at least 2 weeks ahead. It isn't issued if the vehicle can unload and park legally elsewhere.

In a permit zone, a resident can book visitor sessions through the same account. Bexley and Gravesham addresses come under those councils' own rules.
